WISENE Roof Monitoring System
Credibility, safety, savings
WISENE Roof Monitoring creates a world of safe roofs, providing real-time, reliable and precise information about the condition of the structure, which prevents overloading.
The use of direct measurement methods for vertical and angular displacements to monitor structure responses to variable loads and changes in permanent loads. Vertical displacements are measured by Laser Measuring Devices [LUP] with the use of stabilizing the position of the optical axis in space. Angular displacements are measured by Inclinometric Measuring Devices [IUP], stable in the industrial temperature range. Over 4'000'000 sq m. secure roofs, 350 facilities and 1500 Users serviced daily.
The unique metrological credibility of the WISENE technology results from:
The use of measurement of physical quantities resulting directly from deflection, which is the only measurable condition of the structure, directly related to its effort. These quantities are:
Vertical displacement of a point near the center of span of a monitored structural element, measured by WISENE Laser Measuring Devices [LMD]. Vertical measurement is used to ensure precision and insensitivity to any structure movements, excluding the measured vertical displacement!
The angular displacement of the point near the support of the monitored element of the structure, measured with WISENE Inclinometer Measuring Devices [IMD]. An environmentally sensitive gravitational inclination measurement is used.
Fulfilling metrological conditions critical for a given measuring method
The sine qua non condition of any optical / laser measurement, regardless of the position of the optical axis, is its position stabilization or appropriate correction of the measurement results. The WISENE [LUP] laser measuring device uses gravity stabilization of the optical axis position (optimal solution, independent of any movements or displacements of the monitored structure), and the measurement result does not require any correction!
WISENE Roof Monitoring = The world of safe roofs
The use of WISENE Roof Monitoring increases the safety of the facility, people and property as well as legal security
Increasing the safety of people and property
It results directly from the increased safety of using a large area facility through constant and reliable monitoring of the structure condition
Increased legal security
Results from the application of WISENE Roof Monitoring, which in the vast majority of cases meets the requirements of the polish legislation “§ 204 ust. 7 Rozporządzenia Ministra Infrastruktury z dn. 12.03.2009 oraz przesłanki Art. 61 ust. 2 Ustawy Prawo budowlane”.
Equipping the facility with WISENE Roof Monitoring allows for generating significant operational savings by limiting:
Snow removal costs
Removing snow from the roof only when it is really necessary – minimizing the number of snow removal.
The cost of repairing the roof coating and the equipment installed on it.
Each snow removal causes this type of damage.
The time needed to manage roof loads
Automatic and constant effort control of roof structure elements.
